Biography

Daniel Maialetti is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) who has extensive experience in the fitness industry.  Dan graduated Temple University with honors, and a BS in Therapeutic Recreation (CTRS). While attending Temple University, Dan was an assistant wrestling coach at Cardinal Dougherty High School. In the field of Therapeutic Recreation, he established a fitness program for adolescents with disabilities.  He spent 12 years at Shriners Hospitals-Philadelphia Unit in this role.  Following his tenure at Shriners, he became a personal trainer at the Newtown Athletic Club.

Dan has lived in Abington for over 12 years and is now an independent personal trainer at the Aquatic and Fitness Center-Jenkintown.

His passions include: running, road and mountain biking, adventure racing, roller hockey, and snow boarding.  Dan currently races in these sports, including duathlons, and is a local co-ed adventure racing champion. If you are curious, ask Dan to tell you what adventure racing is all about.

Dan works with clients of all levels and abilities.  His dynamic personality motivates and energizes everyone to achieve his or her full potential. His favorite motto is: “train smarter, not harder.”

Jody Frank

Looking for some pep in your coffee? She’s the one. Leave your coffee at home. Jody is very high energy and serious about her work.

The joy of personal training for Jody is sharing her passion for exercise and motivating her clients to put exercise into action. This makes for the happiest Jody in the whole world!

Academically Jody followed heart in first achieving an associates degree in Sports Management from Northampton Community College, followed by a bachelor of Business Management from Cedar Crest College, and most recently a gradate of the National Personal Training Institute.

Starting from early childhood she has always been physically active beginning with growing up on a farm, a sounding board for the passion of a physically demanding environment. She has been competitive in soccer, horse back riding, weight lifting, basketball, softball, gymnastic, cross country, adventure racing, mountain biking, and road biking.

Jody is determined to achieve the ultimate results. After only two weeks of mountain bike training, she competed in her first adventure race and took first place. The victory included working with two other team mates in completing the following disciplines: trail running, canoeing, mountain biking, and special challenges. Jody wants to team up with you and help you reach your fitness goals!
