Here are just a few examples of my clients who have
been very successful while training with me!
One of my recent success stories has been working with a young baseball player, Bobby Flood. He has lost over 50 pounds, and has changed his eating and exercise habits! I have seen his confidence, along with his physique grow into that of a young man. He even increased his strength while losing the weight, by doing it appropriately! Bobby has a great work ethic, and is always willing to learn and follow instruction.
Dan has gone beyond what I’ve expected from my Personal Trainer. Not only does he work one on one with me during my weekly training session, but he has helped develop a complete workout schedule incorporating my personal training sessions, biking, running and other fitness activities. With my goals, we’ve used my training regimen to help me be at my best for my races. He has also provided guidance on nutritional elements and developed a meal plan for my use. My training sessions with Dan are always enjoyable. Focusing as much on fitness training as well as strength training, Dan keeps me motivated to continue to improve.
Tom is always a pleasure to train, and not only has become a racing teammate of mine, he has become a great friend! He has continued to push his limits, and mine, by challenging himself to higher levels of fitness! Tom has successfully completed a 50K trail running race! His current goal is to complete a 50 mile race!

Working and training with Dan has been a new adventure for me. He has put back the fun into fitness and has shown me that with a little hard work I can achieve the results I want. I started training with Dan about a year and a half ago after being away from the gym and an exercise program for a year during which time I had picked up some poor eating habits and started smoking. I had always been active at some level throughout my life and I wanted to get back on track. I realized that I needed someone to help guide and motivate me to get and keep me at the top of my game.
Dan evaluated my fitness level and asked me about my goals. I started working with him 3 times a week for a half hour. We primarily worked on weight training, with occasional circuit training and I got my cardio in on the alternate days. Initially, I found it extremely challenging and was often wiped out after our sessions. However within about 6 weeks, it was getting easier, I started noticing results and was getting compliments from friends and family.
After a little while, Dan explained that if I wanted to maintain a high fitness level and get stronger, I need to increase the intensity and duration of my workouts. I decided that it was what I wanted to do so I bumped up my sessions to a full hour. After a few months, I decided that I wanted to apply what I was doing in the gym to an event outside the gym. That’s when Dan challenged me to train for Adventure Racing and I took him up on it. He gave me a daily training program and meal plan and we worked very hard to prepare me for the requisite trail running, mountain biking and paddling. I even took one of my weekly sessions with him outdoors to accomplish this task.
I was definitely ready on race day. I even surprised myself and did better than I had expected! It was so exciting and so much fun! I know that I could not have accomplished this without Dan.
Candy Stampone is one of my first clients, and I still train her currently! She has been a pleasure to train and challenge. She always does her homework, and trains on the days that I don't see her. She also has become a great mountain biker, and great friend, as well!
